If any lawyers are reading this, let me know if this breaks the law. I reiterate, super creepy, which is way, way worse than silly. So he is at least tying together your driver's license, Yelp account, and perhaps Facebook or worse. He had no way of knowing my husband's name unless he did a comprehensive search and flagged myself and him. (We had not yet given our licenses this night.) They are researching you at the very least, when you give a bad review. When they take your licenses inside they are scanning it and retaining the information. He called us both by our last names, and mentioned my negative review ("since you don't like my place."). Lee (?) came out and said that me and my husband were not welcome. When in Chinatown the next Friday walking home from dinner, my husband said he wanted to check the place out, so we waited in line behind two other people.

I went here on the 18th on request of a friend despite the silliness and wrote the below review. The decor is beautiful, the cocktails seem lovely, but this pretentiousness at the door should not be part of the "experience". We went down to Craft & Bru and got drinks for 6 people with total tab under $40. With this kind of attitude and "new rules", we just walked out. You can make a rule for "no photos" but you can't suddenly declare a drink minimum. Seriously? At $15 a pop, we have to spend $30 a person or we all sit separately? Plus, we weren't planning to drink more than 1 cocktail since we were driving back. Anyway, he said they would move us to a 6 seat table but it's a 2 drink minimum per person.

However, we don't think he liked us from the beginning and gave us hard time when were outside waiting "You're leaning on the doorbell" No, we have a question. The waiters were very nice and happy to accommodate us together, after speaking to the manager. So, you're making people wait outside even though you could conceivably sit them at a table for 4? Isn't the business about getting people in and out? Why not split the tables for 4 into 2's? Our friends showed up later and were waiting outside. Two of us waited for 15-20 min, and finally we get in and it's practically empty! Tables for 4 are open. One couple left to go get cash since it's cash only. First, there are 3-4 couples waiting outside because they don't have "table tops for 2". We were excited to go here with our friends but the pretentious attitudes and 'new rules' turned us off.
